| During 2007 we had many great hikes that introduced many Newtown residents some of the hidden beauty within their own town. In addition the NFA would like to thank all of those volunteers who helped us on several of our projects this year including the Invasive Removal with Beetles, The 2007 Earth Day Clean Up and the Holcombe Memorial Garden. All visitors and volunteers learned something new and found some of the open space that the NFA has protected for almost 75 years. Feel free to enjoy our properties year round and I hope you all look forward to the 2008 guided hikes that we are planning. |
