November 11, 2004 -

Newtown Forest Associations Board of Directors moves in to its newly renovated office space.  The former Caretaker
cottage at 55 Great Hill Road was converted into office space with a fresh coat of paint and the acquisition of some used
office furniture.  The NFA's previous office was another house on this property that was the former residence of the late
Mrs. Holcombe who bequeathed this land to the NFA after her passing in 199?.  Mrs. Holcombe's former residence had
been left much as it was before her passing, with the Board meeting in the living room.  Unfortunately last winter a pipe
froze, burst and flooded the residence ruining most all of the furniture.  Insurance paid for the water damage repairs and
the funds equivalent to the replacement value of the damaged furniture.  A portion of these funds were used to buy the
used office furniture with the balance used to complete other property repairs.
