Pack 70 and friends enjoyed a trail walk at the Holcombe Hill property lead by Newtown Forest Association Treasurer Guy Peterson.
The scouts and families learned about the many plant and animals habitat features that are found here. NFA board member Bob Eckenrode shared his
knowledge of native plant species and animal habitat that the property contains along its network of trails through open meadows, wetlands, vernal pools
and mature forests. All hikes are open to the public and all are welcome.
