At the NFA May Board meeting the Board approved the rekindling of the Newtown Forest Association's Largest Tree Contest.
Details on the type of tree and rules and deadlines will be forthcoming at our Annual Meeting on May 19th and on the
website in the near future.
In addition, the Board selected its dates to run the 2006 Summer Trail Hike Program commencing with the first hike on June 3rd
in honor of CT Trails Day.
