April 29, 2006 - 9:30 AM  - The NFA held its first organized trail day clean up as a way to honor Earth Day.  The NFA solicited help to restore a
previously constructed Blue Trail that was an Eagle Scout project several years ago @
Holcombe Hill.  The NFA wants to especially thank Cub Scout
Pack 70 who came with 35 scouts and parents and all of the other volunteers that came through out the day.

The members, scouts and families learned about basic trail maintenance and clean up led by NFA board member Bob Eckenrode and Sarah Brooks, the
properties caretaker.  This restored the trail to its original luster.  The trail is open for hiking to the public and all are welcome to enjoy its beauty.
